NAMMIC’s primary service offering is in Civil Engineering Services. NAMMIC offer services covering a wide spectrum of civil, mechanical, plant hire, petroleum and general building construction.
NAMMIC has over 20 years industry experience and has completed projects that cover the full spectrum of civil engineering services. These include earthworks, road construction, infrastructure development, municipal services, and concrete structures.
Through leadership and commitment to excellence, the business has grown substantially since its inception and the performance of its operations has resulted an excellent reputation with clients, financiers and suppliers. Between the members, we have more than 60 years of combined experience in the industry.
Our management teams are dynamic, skilled and have good experience in all aspects of civil engineering construction. We take pride in delivering successful projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
We have sufficient plant and equipment that ensures capacity for continuity of all projects, from small to large. Our clients include governments, local municipalities, corporate groups, property developers, and NPO’s.
WHO WE ARE
About Us
NAMMIC was founded in 2006 by Michael & Adri. Michael was a Consultant Engineer and Adri a bookkeeper at the time before founding the company. The name was derived from the area where the business was founded and first operated, Namaqualand and Namibia (“NAM”) and the founder, Michael (“MIC”).
NAMMIC’s first project was for the civil engineering services for a new development in Springbok, Northern Cape.
NAMMIC grew quickly between 2007 and 2010, with branches in Springbok, Northern Cape, and Cape Town, Western Cape to fulfil projects throughout the Northern and Western Cape regions, and Namibia. Subsequently NAMMIC Plant Hire, NAMMIC Namibia, NAMMIC Blasting, Petroleum and NAMMIC Western Cape were founded between Michael and Jaco.
Today they work together in the NAMMIC Group of Companies.
